We didn’t want you to miss out on all the innovative technology and [building trends](https://www.easternarchitectural.com/blog/what-to-expect-in-the-6th-edition-of-floridas-building-code) in case you weren’t able to make it to this year’s NAHB International Builder’s Show 2017.

As you may know, this show attracts the best designers, builders, architects etc. in the industry to learn and collaborate. It also happens to be the largest annual light construction show in the world.

With previous attendance records capping around 60,000, IBS 2017 had closer to 80,000 attendees with thousands of building professionals and over 160 educational sessions.

Some of the new experiences at this year’s show included:

- Builder Clinics
- Tech Bytes sessions
- CEDIA Smart Home Pavilion

But that's not where the fun ended! In addition to those interactive experiences, the NAHB Meeting of the Members was located at the new Building Performance Lab along with an inside look at how high-performance works in buildings.

There are sure to be more interactive festivities and educational hands-on clinics at next year’s show, January 9-11, 2018, which you can register for beginning in August.
