Dennis Chappell, Chairman of the FMA Membership Committee along with your Executive Director, visited Eastern Architectural Systems in Ft. Myers, FL recently and met with Jim Flesher, Plant Manager. The effervescent Kristin Anderson, FMA Board member, was kind enough to escort us to the construction site of their new 172,000 square foot building pad.
Eastern Architectural Systems (EAS), a division of Eastern Metal Supply (EMS) is cementing their commitment to the Fort Myers community and Southwest Florida job market. Beginning in early 2015, EAS will be moving into a new 172,000 square foot warehouse–the first major industrial building to be built in Southwest Florida in the last five years. “The economy is picking up and a lot of the building is coming back, said EAS/EMS owner Greg Weekes. “We are excited and proud to be able to invest not only in our business, but to be a part of this great community. We’re here to stay.”
